One of you asked :
oh my oh my! your skin is GORGEOUS! what do you use or what is your beauty routine to make it so glowy (?)
Well gracious me, you are too kind first of all. And secondly, I have no secret formula, however there are a few little things I have picked up along the way and incorporated into my daily routine that are most helpful at achieving a bit of glow. Most will not be revolutionary as you’ve probably read them time and time again, but alas here they are!
1) Water. I drink a heck of a lot of water. Save the occasional Coke, sweet tea and frequent coffee, I generally just drink water. I cut all artificial sweeteners (Splenda and Diet Coke) out nearly a year ago and it has done wonders for my skin and energy level.

2)
Vaseline. My mom has removed her eye makeup with Vaseline for years and I actually had no idea there was such thing as ‘eye makeup remover’ until high school. Vaseline is incredibly inexpensive, lasts forever and makes the skin around your eyes smooth and soft. Disclaimer: invest in a soft washcloth to rub your eyes with, anything else is far too abrasive.
And upon my pinterest search, you can also distress furniture, preserve pumpkins and create a glowy effect on images using this stuff. Don’t say I didn’t love ya :)
3) Moisturizer. Usually one with an ‘anti-aging’ formula created for wrinkles. Prevention plan?
4) Blush & bronzer. Basics.
5) Good foods. My skin is not anywhere close to perfect. However, I have noticed that processed foods and simple carbs cause my skin to become bland, oily and lifeless. Vegetables and fruit result in cheerful, clear skin.
6) Sunshine. It’s the greatest formula there is.
That’s about it. Thanks for asking!
