floored.
I love IKEA, but absolutely never find anything there. I always end up getting very flustered and just leave with a cup of ice cream. However, this little gorgeous is lovely. High five, Swedes.
Sort of reminds of this beauty that I woefully had to return to TJ because I needed to eat. Mama is slowly teaching me that starving so I can have money to shop is a poor financial plan.
*apologies...
veto.
first glance, who are these by?
American Eagle? Hollister? Abercrombie?
nope.
J.Crew.
Jenna Lyons, where oh where were you on this decision?

Perused the CatBird site that the precious heart ring below is listed on. $88 is a little much to spend on myself for Valentine’s Day. So I hopped on over to Etsy, my home away from home, and decided this is a great compromise:
For $16, it’s mine all mine.
22 & 2010.
22 feels older than I had imagined it would. There’s something young and sassy about saying you’re 21, but 22? This age has a weight on it. A figure-your-life-out weight. But, it’s been grand nonetheless, learning how to live at this adult age in the non-adult state of mind. Just call me Peter Pan, why don’t you.
But, as previously mentioned-my birthday was spectacular...

Dearest Southern Living,
I am quite enamored with your magazine and would delight in the opportunity to intern for you this Summer. You may have noticed a drastic increase in your unique visitor numbers because I have been continuously stalking your Careers pages for 2 months now, in hopes that you’ll post the application soon.
I am not above (or below, whichever way you look at it)...
happy tuesday.
Most people, when they die, want to be buried next to their family in a plot at the cemetery or scattered in the ocean, the lake, their favorite tropical destination.
Not me.
When I die, I want to be buried at Anthropologie.
Here’s why:
not much to say.
I feel like most bloggers feel this week. Just at a loss for words. I could talk about my internship search, the spur-of-the-moment trip home, a few lovely images I’ve stumbled upon this week-but everything seems trite and trivial compared to the tragedy in Haiti.
Hearts are broken. I followed Anaika’s story on CNN Friday and literally was in tears at the news of her rescue. This...
pitter patter.
A precious friend from growing up got married a few weekends ago in Albany and her absolutely stunning wedding is featured on the Smitten blog. I honestly don’t think I’ve seen a prettier wedding.ever. Thanks Arre for the heads up!
I am putting every image into my secret wedding file. Swooning, just swooning over these!
The custom built outdoor invisible chapel. Oh the stained-glass...
head over feet.
I’m not even sure where to begin. My world was spinning and turning just like a usual Tuesday evening, the Harvest candle lit, James Morrison playing in the background, attempting to get some work done while simultaneously perusing the blogroll and
Smack.
Like a honking mac truck on I-75, Madeline Weinrib Atelier hit me. I’m not even sure where she came from, but like a hurricane she...
baby, baby you put my heart in motion.
I unashamedly adore love children’s decor and fashion.
Rabbit trail: The marriage of home decor and clothing is so gorgeous. I’m enamored by how seamlessly they get along-such a happy relationship.
I’ll explain: During my summer from heaven at Vineyard Vines, I would frequently go missing and could always be found back in Design thumbing through the next season’s tiny threads,...
exciting.
The best of my human efforts fails at orchestrating this. Divinity is the only explaination for why me and my bestfriends have the joy of spending a week with these precious faces soon.
recently.
Days spent curled up in my favorite club chair hand-me-down from Mama, wrapped in my leopard snuggie, watching One Tree Hill seasons and venturing down the street to spend time with my favorite ladies at ADD Drug. It’s been quite the weekend back in the Classic City to say the least.
Yet, something is different. 2010 has a weight on it that is undeniable. So very many life changing events...
